Tanners Hill- Labour Demand Action

Residents Deserve Answers

Labour Councillors and the Tanners Hill Tenants & Resident Association (TRA) have demanded an investigation into the major works taking place on the Tanners Hill Estate.

They have demanded a review of where Lewisham Homes are with the major works; an action plan and timescale for each block; alleviation of the worst conditions the residents are living in; and an investigation into what has gone wrong with a full report to the TRA, residents and Lewisham Homes Board.

For the rest of the year Labour Councillors will be holding a drop in session every month at 82 Tanners Hill, the Labour Party's new campaign HQ.

The drop in session are 4pm-6pm Saturday 18 October, 15 November, and 13 December.

Cllrs Alicia Kennedy and Jimi Adefiranye said: "The major work delays are unacceptable. Residents have been living with scaffolding round them for months. It's not good enough. We will work with the TRA, and residents to make sure all the issues get sorted out."
