Demanding an end to London Bridge train chaos

Labour candidate for Lewisham Deptford Vicky Foxcroft and local Labour councillors have joined local residents in calling for the disruption being caused by works at London Bridge Station to be put right immediately.

Work at London Bridge Station has seen trains too packed to pick up passengers at several stations across Lewisham Deptford: this has caused dangerously busy platforms and commuters are waiting for several trains before they are able to get to work and continue their daily lives.

This petition demands that the Mayor of London, Network Rail and rail providers should look into disruption immediately.

The Crofton Park service in to Blackfriars and beyond is a shambles (sardines in tin cans doesn’t come close) and will soon be beyond usable. My fear is that it may take an accident due to overcrowding because something is done.
